Solved)Firefox and Thunderbird, will not open in Mint 17 KDE

Just installed new version two days ago. This morning I am unable to open FF or Tbird. Had to install Opera to access web. Any suggestions? Never had this problem before.

Hi!
Maybe Konsole
gives you a hint
or start them from a Konsole.

Thanks, seeley for the quick response. Everything seems to work fine now and here is what I did: I reinstalled FF which did not work. I uninstalled FF, reinstalled it, no luck. Then with your posting, started FF via command line which started FF. Then I was able to start both FF and Tbird even after rebooting. Not sure what the problem was but seems to be ok now. We can consider this thread closed for now.
