Firefox plugins directory

Postby mokmeister on Sat Sep 27, 2008 12:26 pm

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me where the firefox plugins directory is in the Mint 5KDE CE? I'm asking because I installed DJVu 4 and the libre plugin, and it installed the plugin in /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plugins. So I put a soft link into /usr/lib/firefox/plugins pointing to the mozilla firefox plugins so file but it's still not picking up the djvu plugin as an installed plugin.

Any ideas would be appreciated,

Thanks and Regards,

Mark.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Both the plugins directories you mention exists by default but I believe the plugin is in the /usr/lib/netscape folder
So the solution should be
cd /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plugins
ln -s /usr/lib/netscape/plugins/nsdejavu.so .

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it
