Gourmet - recipe application for Gnome...

Post by tenfoot »

I have just downloaded and installed Gourmet and added it to the Panel but when I launch it nothing happens. However, when I launch it from the command line the following is generated:

zed@zed-desktop ~ $ gourmet

File "/usr/bin/gourmet", line 34, in <module>
import gourmet.GourmetRecipeManager
File "/usr/share/gourmet/GourmetRecipeManager.py", line 9, in <module>

File "/usr/share/gourmet/shopgui.py", line 3, in <module>
import recipeManager, convert, WidgetSaver, reccard
File "/usr/share/gourmet/reccard.py", line 24, in <module>
from importers.importer import parse_range
File "/usr/share/gourmet/importers/__init__.py", line 3, in <module>
import gxml2_importer, rezkonv_importer
File "/usr/share/gourmet/importers/rezkonv_importer.py", line 41

I have visited the website referred to but can find nothing which assists me.

Is anyone able to help, please?

Panic over! After I'd posted, I did some Googling and found that there was an updated version of Gourmet - it went from 0.13.3.1 to 0.13.4. Uninstalled the earlier version and installed the other and all is now well :)

Thinks. Write out 1000 times "You must Google and try and solve your perceived problems BEFORE seeking help from the Forum".
