Linux Multimedia Studio failed install

Postby tawan on Sat Oct 04, 2008 10:21 am

hi i installed this from the software portal

http://www.linuxmint.com/software/?sec= ... &release=3

and it didnt show up in my mint menu even after a reboot. the installation seemed to go fine, is there a way i can find if it did install? if i can make it work? or if the .mint file is broken....?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Just for verification, did you try System > Preferences > Main Menu > find and uncheck, and then re-check the box by the application? I have had to do that every now and then to get the application to show up in the menu. It is worth a quick look. I hope this is an easy fix. Good luck.
