My problem began few weeks ago when I changed my monitor resolution from 1280x980 to 1152x864 ( refresh was so low in 1280x980 that hurt my eyes). Everything was alright (my monitor supports that resolution and so and so) but the following time I turned on the computer usplash was completely moved, I mean GRUB image was moved to the right, usplash didn't cover all the screen... I tried with different resolutions for usplash, first by modifying /boot/grub/menu.lst and after that by using "startupmanager" but none worked. How could I reconfigure usplash so that it fits the screen again??
- I exclusively use Linux Mint 5.0
- Proprietary drivers for ATI Radeon Xpress are correctly installed and working
- I changed resolution using System/Preferences/Screen Resolution
