[Solved] Failure applying FireFox updates (2-Sept-14)

Can anyone tell me what to do to fix this problem which occurred while trying to update?

I'm running LM17, Cinnamon, 64-bit. This is the first update problem I've had since installing LM17.

Try updating your system through the terminal:

Within the terminal you get more precise info off what's going wrong. If you get any error messages, paste them here.

Never mind - rebooting and retrying the update solved the problem.
