Can't add new user solved

Postby Old Marcus on Sun Nov 02, 2008 8:41 am

In Elyssa, I try to add a new user, but the option is greyed out in Users and Groups. This is annoying, since I want to make an account for my dad, since his comp is up the creek, but I can't any help? Cheers.
Linux Mint 8 RC1 = Nice
'apt install' can be used on Linux Mint as a shortcut for 'sudo apt-get install'. 'apt x' can be used for various other apt commands as well.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

From the terminal perhaps
man adduser gives you the info needed

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it

Phew how glad I am not to get some grumpy comment about the terminal
Is it still grayed out in Users and Groups?
I hoped the new user should shake it up a bit
