Virtualbox help

Postby ossified65 on Tue Nov 18, 2008 10:58 pm

I am running Windows XP inside Virtualbox, but I can't access any of my files or a flash drive. Could someone tell me how to make my linux desktop accessible in a virtual XP? I think I have to mount a share folder or something, but I am confused. :?

Install the guest add ons. then set up a shared folder, under the top menu, or from the control center with the VM off. (VM, settings, Shared folders, then Click Add Top icon on the RHS) and add the folder you want to share.
Then from the VM, click on explorer, map network drive and then browse to the share, and map it to a drive.
