Anybody get ecryptfs working in elyssa?

Postby triwave on Wed Nov 19, 2008 2:24 pm

I've been trying to get ecryptfs working under elyssa. I get the following error when trying to mount it:

Unable to get the version number of the kernel
module. Please make sure that you have the eCryptfs
kernel module loaded, you have sysfs mounted, and
the sysfs mount point is in /etc/mtab. This is
necessary so that the mount helper knows which
kernel options are supported.

Make sure that your system is set up to auto-load
your filesystem kernel module on mount.

Enabling passphrase-mode only for now.

I'm not an expert in this area but typing modeprobe -l indicates the module is loaded, typing mount indicates sysfs is mounted, and typing cat /etc/mtab shows it listed there.

Where do I go from here?
