Broken dependency, I think.

I was trying to install VirtualBox and when running the GDebi package installer my internet connection gave up and the installation got 'stuck'.

Now i realize none of the package managers are working...
Synaptic, apt-get, update-notifier, GDebi.

I get this error with Synaptic:
An error occured.

The following details are provided.

E: The package virtualbox needs to be reinstalled, but I can't find an archive for it.
E: Internal error opening cache (1). Please report.

Are you sure VirtualBox is in the repos?? Why not try the official installation instructions?

It wasn't in the repos...I clicked on the download link in their website and asked Firefox to open it instead of downloading.
