I looked at the programs you mentioned. I was not familiar with any of them, and you may find that many Linux users may not have heard of them either. However, as a suggestion, you could make a post with what you want to do, and then you may get more posts with recommendations for a Linux application. There is a trick, you can select an area of your desktop (the area where is the webcam image) the software emulates a webcam.. you record your webcam with this and use the virtual webcam for other programs.
Edit! At the left of the soft, there is sources, pheriferials (periferiche in italian) and select your webcam
