I've installed and reinstalled Serpentine and it still won't pop up onto my screen when I click on it from my menu.

I have just had a quick look using Google and it says

Requirements:

· python-gst
· gnome-python-extras 2.10
· pygtk 2.6

you should have a look to see if you have them installed.
