Xterm Error

Postby IchBin on Tue Jan 27, 2009 1:57 pm

I upgraded to Felicia yesterday. Found out today when I went to open an xterm that something is wrong. I can 'xterm -e ssh -X hostname' just fine. However, when I go to that xterm window (Solaris 10) and i try to run the same command to open another window, I get the following error.
Code: Select all
xterm:  warning, error event received:
X Error of failed request:  BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)
Major opcode of failed request:  147 (XKEYBOARD)
Minor opcode of failed request:  16 (XkbSetNamedIndicator)
Serial number of failed request:  267
Current serial number in output stream:  267

I installed Mint5 and Mint6 into Virtualbox to test this. Mint5 does not have this problem, but Mint6 does. I'm not sure what any of this means, as I'm pretty new to server admin stuff still. Anyone have an idea?
