I have very few complaints with Linux Mint (it's phenomenal!), but one thing I'm looking for help on is the initial launch speed of Firefox.
When first launching Firefox ("Starting Firefox Web Browser..."), it can take up to 10 seconds to load. Is there any way to speed this up? Note: I'm not asking to speed up the loading time of 'pages' (they're quite speedy on their own!) - just the actual application launch.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Firefox Help: Initial Launch Speed SLOW
Install "preload" using Synaptic. It might take a week to see results but it will help. I would also recommend turning off Tracker and Tracker Applet in Sessions, it will spped things up.
