How do I change the frequency of mint update:

Postby klepto on Tue Jan 27, 2009 7:34 pm

First of all:

I LOVE MINT LINUX!! I've been a ubuntu user since Dapper
but Mint Linux is like Ubuntu for Power Users. I have a question
though, mint update seems to check like every 5 minutes and
I would prefer if it checked like every 10 hours or so.

Thanks

Try System > Administration > mintUpdate > Edit > Preferences > Autorefresh tab. I agree that five minutes is not optimal. I have mine set on five days.
