.Download a copy of ne_NP_dict.zip from Madan Puraskar Pustakalaya's website http://www.madanpuraskar.org (see download section for files).
.Unzip the file in your home folder by double-clicking the file. This will extract three files: ne_NP.dic, ne_NP.aff and README_ne_NP.txt.
.Copy ne_NP.dic and ne_NP.aff files and paste into /usr/lib/openoffice/share/dict/ooo folder, and save.
.Open /usr/lib/openoffice/share/dict/ooo folder. Open the file: dictionary.lst file and check for DICT ne NP ne_NP.
.If found, save and exit. If not type: DICT ne NP ne_NP
.Save and close the dictionary.lst file.
.Now, run OpenOffice.org writer.
.Select Tools > Language Settings > Language Settings.
.Click Language and enable Complex Text Layout (CTL) option.
.Under Default Languages for Documents, select Nepali (Nepal) from the CTL drop-down list.
.Click OK to close the dialog box. Setup is complete.
.Now, type some Nepali text. The speller will automatically highlight the misspelled words.
