I have Mint 6 64 bit installed and working well.
Can I upgrade to a newer kernel 188.8.131.52. If yes then an explanation would be very helpful.
The reason for this is that I am "Protein Folding" for Stanford University, and I find that by installing Mint 6 the folding client is running about 20% slower than Mint 5 Elyssa was. The answer seems to be to upgrade to the newer kernel.
Any help or advice would be very welcome
Best regards Keith
