Zero Install Application

Postby gibbs1984 on Mon Mar 09, 2009 3:16 pm

Has anyone seen this?

Zero Install.

I've just Stumbled upon it and it might make things easier for installing tarballs for people like myself who don't know how to install them.

Is it safe etc though and does it actually make things easier, pros and cons?

Supposedly it's in the repositories
Code: Select all
$ sudo apt-get install zeroinstall-injector

If you install it, report back on how it works (or doesn't).
