Hey everyone I am new to Linux and decided to give Linux Mint a go. I really enjoy the system, it is an excellent OS. I have however ran into a little problem, and have not been successful on finding a solution. When I load some programs, the menus are completely blank. I have noticed this on WINE, Scribus, and a few others. I have installed Linux Mint on two computers, one of them being the 64-bit, and have the same issue on both systems with different programs. WINE has the menus on one of them, while is blank on the other system. I was wondering what I did wrong and what is the best way to fix the problem?
Thanks in Advance.

I think you can fix it along the lines found here

My guess is a problem with the video driver
