hi, first of thank you for taking the time and looking.

question 1. I have installed KoverArtist and Kover and it said that they were both installed correctly but i can find them anywhere.

Question 2. i am looking for libgpod 0.6.0 or newer, I have found a few sites that have this but i have no idea what to install/do. I am looking for something like in the software portal where i can just install it and it is there.

and i am using Linux Mint Elyssa

thank you hope someone can help.

jamesthelibertine,

Did you install from the repos? If you did you should have picked up all the dependencies automatically.

If installed from the repos, sometimes the program will not show-up in the menu until you restart X or reboot, if that is easier for you. Try that and see if that lets the menu register the program.

3 possible answers. First, do you have a program called 'Appfinder' in your menu? If you do is it in there? Second, Alt/F2 then type 'kover' , third open synaptic type 'kover' in the quick search, highlight the entry, right click, then select 'Properties'. In there go to the 'Installed Files' tab and have a look for 'kover' . It will probably be in /usr/bin/kover. Whatever it is type that into a terminal and it will launch.

open a terminal and write whereis Kover
or KoverArtist. it should tell you where they are located.
iro libgpod 0.6.0 it can't find it in the repos i imagine that it is not a .deb archive so you would have to extract: make: compile and install manually
