Hi! I just downloaded Savage 2: A Tortured Soul for Linux from this site. It is a .bin file. I am quite new to Linux, so i tried to open it like in Windows, but it didn't work. I allowed it to run as an executable, but still nothing. I googled .bin files in Linux and got the command for running them in Terminal.
Here is what happened:
(The file is on the desktop)
$ cd Desktop
~/Desktop $ ./Savage2Install-1.5.0-x86_64.bin
bash: ./Savage2Install-1.5.0-x86_64.bin: cannot execute binary file
I tried using $ sudo ./Savage2Install-1.5.0-x86_64.bin:
leif@leif-laptop ~/Desktop $ sudo ./Savage2Install-1.5.0-x86_64.bin
[sudo] password for leif:
./Savage2Install-1.5.0-x86_64.bin: 1: Syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")")
I don't think the file is broken. Any clues what to do?
Thanks in advance
