Strange behaviour in Tomboy

Postby godisadj on Sat Apr 04, 2009 2:57 am

Hi all,

I'm running a (near) fresh install of Felicia and I'm experiencing strange behaviour in Tomboy.

I can create notes no problem at all, however when I try to use the "Search All Notes" function things start getting strange! Any text I type in the search box does not display, however if I select the dropdown arrow I can see a list of all the stuff I've just typed. Selecting this text in the dropdown list does nothing. Additionally, I cannot open notes from within the "Note" list within this dialogue.

Is it possible that this is a graphics driver problem? I'm running the nvidia-glx-177 drivers on an onboard GeForce 9300 on an Asus P5N7A-VM motherboard.

Any thoughts? :D

Things like this can be a problem with a graphics driver
One thing to try is to right click the Tomby icon and remove from panel followed by adding it to the panel again
Of course you must back up your stuff first
Or remove from panel > Delete the ~/.tomboy folder and add again
Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it
