About ready to throw this thing out the window... (Flash)

Postby Nathan P on Mon Apr 27, 2009 5:36 pm

Flash has been working just fine since I installed ~4 weeks ago. Today, I get online, and it's borked. Tried reinstalling, tried adobe-flashplugin, made sure to "completely remove" so that all the config files get replaced, I even reinstalled firefox. Did this all multiple times too and it still sucks. I listen to Pandora ALOT and not being able to do so is pretty much a deal breaker :(

Can anyone help me?

Did you try uninstalling adobe-flashplugin and installing flashplugin-nonfree instead?

If you've tried the instructions in this post and it still doesn't work, I don't know viewtopic.php?f=47&t=22040#p129287

Are you using a 32 or 64 bit OS? I`ve tried both, and found out that Flash sucks less on 64 bit systems. On my 32-bit i`m forced to use flash popup blocker plugin for FF, since on some websites Flash makes surfing impossible.

I'll try the 64 next time I install, but I cleaned everything again (a few times) and it miraculously just started working again...
