How Do You Install Dansguardian?

I usually use OpenDNS for web content filtering but am also looking into using Dansguardian and Squid. I looked up the installation process for Ubuntu online and it all seemed too hard and out of date. I know that they are available in the repositories but just how do you get it all set up? I really hope that it's easier than I think it is....
