i dont know what going on. but im trying to log into xchat and it wont let me go through. i get stuck at thise

Code: Select all: Looking up irc.spotchat.org.. Connecting to irc.spotchat.org (212.227.94.110) port 6667.. Connected. Now logging in.. Disconnected (Connection reset by peer). maybe your ports are restricted? I have the same thing at work... with any IRC client... since IRC uses port 6667/6668... but all my extra ports are closed due to company policy...

I think we've seen you logging in and out in the irc channel a few days ago. At least I think the nick was mbangia
If you're not behind a restrictive firewall there seems to be a problem with your internet. Do you have a reliable internet connection? Some "odd" ISPs do strange things, so you could be filtered out at thet level to.
I don't think the error is in your system.

i use road runner
its reliable
it was working perfectly fine 2 days ago.
like u said i logged in all the time. and iuno what the problem is

It doesn't happen any more. I suppose you've given up and not tried to connect lately
I'll hear with d00p if there's an issue with roadrunner. It used to be a really large source of spam....
