SOLVED - F-stop and Picasa and EOS 30d

Hi.

This time it's the camera I wished to use with Cassandra.

When I plug it in and turn it on it's recognized (in PTP mode).

When I say yes to import, nothing happens.

I used mintinstall to install Picasa to see if that helped. The program sees my 30d but won't read the pictures from the camera.

Don't know if it's a software or hot pluggin' thing.

Used this and my camera is found.

It also solved the problem I had with my Creative Zen Vision W

There is an issue with the updated libgphoto2

The fix as listed worked for me!

Open /etc/udev/rules.d/45-libgphoto2.rules in your favorite text editor
Replace
BUS!="usb*", GOTO="libgphoto2_rules_end"
with
SUBSYSTEM!="usb_device", GOTO="libgphoto2_rules_end"

Save the file and your camera should work now
