[Solved] Software Upgrades

Postby ksee on Thu Jun 04, 2009 10:48 pm

When I do an update, is there a place to find out what changes were made or why it was updated? :)

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Just click on View / History of Updates, in mintUpdate.
It shows what was updated, and to what version, but doesn't explain it though! May have to do a google on the file name to find a changelog.

regards, Richard

Thanks Richard... I will try that. The package I was wondering about was ufw. Didn't notice any difference in the package but I will google it and see if I can find out that way as well.

the changelogs are also available direct from within mintUpdate, at the bottom.
