File encryption - any suggestions welcome

Postby luvva_cuppa on Sat Jun 20, 2009 8:47 pm

I have gathered together a multitude of passwords and usernames for various applications that i use and would now like to store this file in a secure manner. Any suggestions for a simple and effective way of keeping them safe. Is there a good open source encryption program that would do the job without too much fuss?
Thank you for any suggestions.

I am well pleased with Revelation Password Manager.

Ubuntu implemented an easy-to-use (once set-up) private dir - https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Encry ... eDirectory
