Hi
I'm wondering if someone can help me.
I'm hoping to migrate from MS OneNote on Windows XP to BasketNotes for Linux Mint 2.2. Basket Notes seems like a very well designed program!

When I run the installation for BasketNotes 1.0.2 , it fails. The following message is posted:

If anyone can offer some advice on what I need to download to get it all working, I'd appreciate it very much.

In the most cases, some libraries are missing or cannot be found.
Think to install the *-dev or *-devel packages of your distribution.
For example, if libmng cannot be found,
please check if libmng AND libmng-devel packages are installed on your system.
See the reported errors to know which librarie need to be installed.

Thanks for your reply!

I entered "sudo apt-get install basket" in TERMINAL and it appeared that it was installing the program. However, I've not been able to find it in my list of programs. Mysterious.

Has anyone had luck installing Basket Notes 1.0.2 on Mint 2.2? I am looking forward to converting from MS Onenote to Basket Notes. (And I hope development of Basket Notes will continue!!)

Thanks for any advice or suggestions

Typing basket in terminal launches the program.

Edit - when you close this KDE app it will inform you that it will remain running and is placing an icon in the tray, and you can launch from there.
