Anyone any suggestions for a versatile photo editing suite for Mint.

In Windows i used Paint Shop, Photo Shop and Corell Draw.

In Mint I have tried GIMP, but this is too sophisticated for my needs. I just need a simple basic programme.

I don't understand how you say you used Paint Shop, Photo Shop and Corell Draw in Windows and then go on to say that the Gimp is too sophisticted?

If all you want is a basic programme that does the simple photo editing stuff such as red-eye, cropping, blur, etc then just download and install Google Picasa.

Thanks Guys - Picassa is just what I need - am just using this together with Photo Print.

Once again I can say cheerio to another Windows application.
