Hi,
Just installed Mint on my work laptop and loving it.
I work in IT administration and so need to work with windows machines all the time, but want my one to be linux. To get around any problems this causes I've been using linux on my laptop and rdp-ing to my desktop (running windows server2003) and leaving that rdp session running on one side of the beryl cube.
I quick spin of the mouse and I'm in windows... perfect.
I've found, when I tested before with Ubuntu, that beryl doesnt like rdp in fullscreen mode. Crashes when you try to spin the cube with ctrl-alt-mousewheel.
So I just use it windowed.
But I said I'd test it again in Mint, just in case it worked. Crashed again... no big deal, or so I thought.
Now that I've restarted beryl it wont change desktops. Not even by clicking on the workspace in the panel. I've no idea why.
I've restarted X, restarted the PC, reinstalled beryl. Still the same.
I really dont want to have to re-install Mint but it wouldnt be the end of the world if I had to.
Does anyone here know another way I might try to fix it?
Thanks
Brian
