Just loaded Cassandra and was thrilled on how easy it has become. In a few minutes I had it configured. I'm new to this distro.
Everything is spot on except fire fox.

When I want to close a web page or minimize it, It wants not to do anything. Instead of a fresh install of 3.0, can I remove Firefox and reinstall and what is the easiest non code way to do it. Or is this an issue that will be addressed later.
Even with this it is a faster cleaner install than Mepis- great!!!

Welcome to MInt macc4644
Firefox is updated to 2.0.0.4 with Update Manager from a fresh install
Maybe that helps you - if not Firefox is in the repositories, just open Synaptics and search for firefox, and reinstall it....

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it
