Finding folders in TB

I have used Evolution for some time, but as TB was installed in Cassandra , i thought I would give it a try.
Although it seems preferable to Evolution I have a problem I cannot solve.
I can get mail by clicking on the icon but I cannot find anyway (and I have clicked on everything and opened up all the dialogue boxes), to find the other folders, they are there because if I have an e-mail I can right click on it and move it to another folder but I cannot then find any way to open the other folders.
I am sure it is something simple, but I cannot find a way to do this. :?

Thunderbird is the default e-mail program in Cassandra.
When I used Evolution in Bianca, in the left hand panel was the folders (inbox, outbox, trash, sent etc.)
All i can seem to get in Thunderbird is an icon to get mail.
If I rightclick on an e-mail I get the dialouge box that allows me to move the e-mail to a different folder ie., drafts or trash etc, so the folders are there I just cannot find how to access them.
Is that clearer.

Scorp123, ignore this post, as I said it had to be something simple, I found the answer in the Mozilla forum.
Apparently it had opened as a full page.
All I had to do was take the cursor to the left hand edge of the screen, left click and drag the line across to the right to reveal the pane containing the folders.
I will put it down to a senior moment.
