dear all,I know I'm always with my list of probs...but,you're my only hope(S)

to list them up,
1)when I try to make the window to fullscreen,it just gets into the middle of the screen..how can i make it fit to screen?
2)I do not get sound in the window installed in virtual box!its like i doesn't detect my device!this is what it says when i try to even install my sound card driver..its SB live 5.1 creative...will i ever get sound in that box?
3)when I install windows in virtual box, does it become like installing windows itself,or is it restricted in terms of programs...i mean, can i install any programs which i install on windows...?as such, does it become susceptible to viruses...?
4)also,how is it possible to get network in the windows?i use Ethernet adsl..

hope i'll be aided!even if part is replied,it'll help...
thanx,to you all... :)

Have you installed "Guest Additions" on the Windows VM?

If not that might take care of (1), (2), and (4).

On (2), The windows guest in VBox has its own hardware environment - its own sound card, its own video driver, etc. The guest additions will install the drivers it needs. Don't install any drivers connected to your real or host machine - it won't do any good.

On (3), you can install whatever you want on the windows machine and yes you will be susceptible to viruses.

how do we install guest additions?

what should I do if I've already installed some of the drivers in it?

Bring up the Windows virtual machine
On the top task bar:
Devices > Mount > CDROM Image > VBoxGuestAdditions.iso > Select
Like all things Windows an installer should start automatically.

If for some reason it doesn't:
On the top task bar
Devices > Install Guest Additions

It will overwrite any drivers you installed yourself .
