MonoDevelop build failed

Hi, I downloaded the Linux Mint today. When I used Windows I'm programmed in C++ and in different languages. And now I installed Linux Mint and I installed MonoDevelop too. When I compile application, so MonoDevelop writing "Build failed. Object reference not set to an instance of an object". Please help me :(

Most people using mono or .net would be interested in it for the C# programming, except you can , according to Microsoft, use any other compatible languages..
