I'm having a little trouble getting the Compiz desktop effects working properly.
I downloaded the fusion-icon package, and added that to my startup apps, but when I restart or logout/login I have to manually click the 'Reload Window Manager' option to get the desktop effects to work again.
Am I missing something?

As said this setup works fine in 8.10, but in 9.04 it causes fusion-icon to start without loading any window manager regardless out witch one is set to load. The fix is as simple as clicking the reload button from the drop down list for fusion-con, but the Idea is for it to work without intervention.
I know that when I was running 9.04, I would only start the icon when I wanted to change something, so I had it as an item in the start menu. I did that because I don't like a lot of icons on my bar, but I certainly didn't have a problem with desktop effects not loading properly. Until the bug is fixed, couldn't you just only start the icon when you needed it?
