Language Translation GUI

Post by E-WolfShade »

I find the little dictionary GUI I have to be quite handy, and it got me thinking about something. Does anyone know if there's a GUI for translating to and from various languages?

And I don't mean gnome-translate, which uses Google. I mean something that can translate languages based on libs you have installed. (Google Translate doesn't support a lot of languages IMO, and there is FANTASTIC language support for Ubuntu, along with good suppport for Mint, so...)

So, is there a program like this?

P.S. I'm find with CLI too...

If you google "translation program linux" you get quite a few hits but I have not seen something like you suggest and I don't think it's a good idea as words in Ubuntu would be rather limited, the world needs more words than computer terms :)
