Chess anyone?

Postby oldlearner on Fri Sep 25, 2009 4:50 am

Wonder if anyone could point me in the direction of a good chess game?

Have settled for GNU Chess. Had to install the xboard but at least now i am up and running. Only a new learner to the game so it'll be a while before i start challenging Grand Master's lol. Thanks for the replies both.

www.itsyourturn.com is my favorite way to play chess. Yes this site looks like it hasn't been edited since the 1990's, but it's an easy and effective way to play chess with real people even if you have a busy life.

http://www.chessgames.com/
Depends on your chess rating
--what you might consider good enough to offer a game; then of course there is always the online chess games available

http://chesscolony.com/
http://www.chessinvasion.com/

Just install a board (playable interface), like Xboard and then the chess engine you want, eg crafty.

DrHu

I don't know about a flat belly, but I have the thinnest right arm and hand in the world after clicking to read all of the pages and then clicking to exit all of the pages. I must go through the whole routine again only this time using my left arm so that I can balance things out.

Best regards Keith
