[SOLVED] gtkpod question.

Postby Ironfrunk on Sat Sep 26, 2009 10:54 pm

I downloaded and installed gtkpod in an attempt to add album art to my ipod's music files.
I ran into a roadblock.

I know you can edit the file's cover art by simply editing the information and adding the album art.... However I can't seem to add the same cover art to multiple files.
For example...
I wanted to add the cover art for the Nevermore Album entitled "Dead Heart, In a Dead World".
So I highlighted all twelve songs in the album, and went to edit the information.
I then chose the cover art from the "Pictures" folder in my home directory and added it to the first file. Then I clicked "Change All Tracks Simultaneously" button with the intentions of it adding the cover art to all twelve songs. I then clicked the "Save" button at the top of the window... However, it only added it to the first song.
I have over 900 songs, so adding the artwork to each INDIVIDUAL song is out of the question.
Even if I did it individually, it would be to no avail...
After I closed gtkpod down and re-opened it, not even the first file that I added the cover art to had the artwork... it reset :?:

Any ideas on how to fix this?
