Sound-juicer problems

Hello

I have just installed Mint Cassandra and am trying to use Sound Juicer to rip a cd to MP3.

Although an MP3 profile is listed and is active, I am unable to select it in the output format box, it simply does not appear. If I create a new profile that does not appear in the options box either.

After a quick google I see that this is noted as a bug.

I was wondering if anyone had found a way around this yet and if there is a way to rip to MP3 in Mint/Ubuntu?
