Gnu Cash and Mint...

I need to migrate from Peachtree accounting to a open source program , i found gnu cash fantastic but it lacks features of point of sale and networking to decide.
Maybe someone know of a POS software for linux mint that i can use or
on the other hand a programmer that can conect gnu cash to other business software .
Other thing , anyone knows of medical office software for linux?
I appreciate it very much.

Also I remember Mfx for Linux, if you just want a simple database there are plenty in Synaptic
