When I do a system restart on Mint 8 I get a message that the subject program is still running but not responding. The only way to complete the restart is to force cancel the thing.
Has anyone seen this? Does this warrant a bug report?

If you don't use any screen readers or suchlike you can disable the Assistive Technologies SPI Registry Wrapper in the Startup Applications selector, which is in Preferences in Mint Menu.
There's a bunch of other stuff in there which you might not need and can stop from running at start-up.
