Hi: I love Mint x64 and use Abiword a great deal. I notice from its web page that Abi is now up to 2.8.1. I'd like to update it but the repository only goes up to 2.6.8. Can anyone explain how I would update to the latest version?

Abiwords' website is currently experiencing database problems . . ?
Doesn't look like it will be available until the next release (Lucid Lynx-Mint 9)
