There is a linux version of SportsTracks. I haven't quite gotten it all working yet, but apparently some people have. Check out the SportsTracks discussion forum. Here's a brief synopsis.
You need to install libmono-winforms2.0-cil and garmin-forerunner-tools via synaptic or apt-get.
- Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install libmono-winforms2.0-cil garmin-forerunner-tools
You then need to download and unpack the linux version of SportsTracks to a directory of your choosing:http://www.zonefivesoftware.com/SportTr ... /linux.php
And also download the import plugin from this thread and place in the SportsTracks Plugins folder:http://www.zonefivesoftware.com/SportTr ... t=gpsbabel
Run sportstracks by executing: mono [path to sportstracks executable]/SportsTracks.exe
I've gotten that far, but I can't get it to download data from my forerunner. In the meantime I use VirtualBox with WinXP to download the data, which works just fine. Let us know if you get it working.
