told to fix broken packages that dont exist linux mint
every time i try to update my system it comes up with an error that reads fix broken packages so i go into synaptic package manager and theres no broken packages what so ever so i do the fix any way try to up date again and the same problem plz help me

Post the message that you are receiving (the fix is usually embedded within the error message).

This happens sometimes when the new version of an installed program that is to be updated has different dependencies than the version already installed. First un-install the affected program, and then reinstall it which will result in the new version being installed. After that you can run your updates.
