[SOLVED] Can't update Pidgin

Hi!
I have Mint 8, and would like to have The Pidgin updated, so i followed these instructions (wich worked fined in Karmic Koala for the same system): http://www.pidgin.im/download/ubuntu/.
When i try to update the package lists in the package manager i get this error: http://ppa.launchpad.net/pidgin-develop ... ackages.gz 404 Not Found

Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong?

Ubuntu doesn't have a release called helena, it should be karmic.

Thanks, that solved the problem. Just went to the packet manager and changed the distribution name to karmic et voilá, problem solved.

Yes I know, but you are not using ubuntu, you are using mint and the instructions extract the release name into the software source so instead of karmic you get helena which doesn't exist as a PPA repo. You need to edit the software sources and replace the name.
