I love mintMenu. It was a slight pain to customize, but I've finally got it right where I want it....except for the generic names.
Is there any way to disable the generic names?

Hopefully MintMenu customization explodes with the next version, cause this makes VMaN a sad puppy.

Right-click the Menu -> Preferences -> Favorites tab . .

That only swaps them....doesn't remove the Generic Names.
If there were a file with a list of apps that have corresponding Generic Names, emptying that file would most likely solve this issue.
