I've just installed the 9 RC on my netbook, and configured it in the manner I described here:

My apologies. I have added my question to that thread. I'm using Mint 9 x86 & amd/64 on two different machines & kicking the tires on them. I plan on posting my findings in both cases. So far; VERY impressed!
