this is a multifuntional printer- scanner, It was installed on windows XP , when I install Mint the printer driver was found automatically and works
there is a "solution" but I do not understand nothing I mean I speack spanish but I cant write a single line code

The Easiest way I find was install XSane image scanner from Software Manager
note: in XSane menu preferences "Enable Color Managment" must be uncheck
