Questions about applications and software
I'm looking to decompile a Novel Netware client for openSUSE and compile it for Linux Mint. I love Mint's operating system and would like to have an entire computer lab full of Mint. Only problem is our server is running on Novel Netware, which only supports openSUSE (and other proprietary OS's). Is there any chance of me decompiling it the client for openSUSE and compiling it for Mint? Is it difficult? can you link me to an in-depth tutorial? Do you think it can actually mount the network drives? I'd like to know your opinion on it. If it doesn't sound likely, can you provide an alternative?

You'd need the actual source files in order to compile a client for Mint.
However, there are clients available, they just won't be up to speed with the latest features that you'd find in the SUSE clients. http://developer.novell.com/wiki/index. ... _for_Linux
I take it nobody there has their CNA or CNE?
